One Direction Headphones: Exclusive First Look!

MTV News has the first image of the bedazzled gear, set to hit shelves this fall.

While it may still be some time before fans can go out and purchase that latest set of One Direction swag, that doesn’t mean Directioners can’t be treated to an early look at one piece of the newest gear set to hit shelves this fall.

MTV News has an exclusive look at the One Direction-embossed headphones coming to stores in the near future. Going for $19.99, the pink-and-white headphones have the image of the fivesome surrounded by rhinestones. “1D” is on the adjustable headband.

One Direction Are Looking Forward To Their First VMAs

Jazwares is the company behind the headphones and have a slew of new merchandise ready for release including speakers, microphones, earbuds, walkie-talkies, alarm clocks, boomboxes and karaoke machines. The products will be made available in the U.K., U.S., Latin America, Ireland and Canada.

“With more than 3 million Twitter followers and a debut album that has gone gold and platinum across the globe, it’s clear that the guys from One Direction are superstars that tween and teen fans can’t get enough of,” says a statement from Laura Zebersky, executive vice president of sales at Jazwares, which will work with the group on the items. “We are thrilled to add One Direction to our portfolio, and look forward to developing our program with the band to bring personal and innovative electronics to their millions of fans.”

The 1D merch hits stands just in time for their VMA performance on September 6. The guys are up for two Moonmen: Best Pop Video and Best New Artist for their beach-themed “What Make You Beautiful” video.

“We’re really looking forward to the VMAs,” Liam Payne told MTV News. “It’s quite nerve-racking as well, because obviously there’s been so many historical moments and stuff that have happened at the VMAs. Now we want to make a moment ourselves, but who knows?”
