Listen To “Mix 99” From Your Car Radio

Listening to Mix 99 music from your Mobile Phone, Android, Iphone, IPad or MP3 player through your car stereo is extremely popular because it allows you to easily listen to your music while on the road without having to deal with changing CDs. Many cell phones have music players on them, too, so instead of having to carry around your portable music device with you, you can simply listen to a cell Phone’s music player through a car stereo in much the same manner as listening to any MP3 player through a car stereo, Mix 99 transmits at 128kbs so you will be listening in CD stereo quality.

(Most newer cars come equip with “Blue Tooth” technology, just pair your phone and play)

 

Things You’ll Need

>   Download The “Mix 99 Radio” App

 

  • Cell phone with music player
  • Auxiliary input cable
  • Cassette auxiliary adapter (Only for radio’s that do not have an Aux port)

Instructions

Car Stereo with Auxiliary Input

Plug one end of the auxiliary input cable into the car stereo. Set your car stereo’s function setting to the auxiliary cable setting.

Plug the other end of the auxiliary input cable into the cell phone.

Navigate to your cell phone’s “Mix 99 Radio” App. Push the play tab, Music will transmit through the auxiliary cable and play through your car stereo. (Work’s same way with “Tune In Radio” app)

 

 

 

 

Car Stereo with Cassette Player

Insert the cassette part of the cassette auxiliary adapter into the cassette drive of your car stereo. Insert the cassette adapter into the cassette drive with the cord facing down and out the cassette drive.

Plug the auxiliary end of the cassette auxiliary adapter into the cell phone.

Open your cell phone’s music player. Push “Play” on the music you wish to play.

Car with Power Adapter

Plug the power adapter end of the FM transmitter into the power adapter located on your car’s console.

Plug the auxiliary input cable end of the FM transmitter into the cell phone.

Turn on your cell phone’s music player. Set the music you want to play.

Turn on the FM transmitter. Tune the transmitter to a fuzzy station. Tune your car’s stereo to the same station. Your music should now transmit over the station through your car stereo.

 

Tips & Warnings

Adjust the volume level on your cell phone and your car stereo to achieve the best sound settings.

Make sure you purchase an auxiliary cable size that is compatible with your cell phone. Cell phones’ auxiliary input sizes vary among makes and models.
