Chris Brown Disses Drake On Freestyle, Shouts Out Lil Wayne

Singer opens up about his nightclub brawl involving Drake’s crew on new track.

Chris Brown released a lyrical attack on Drake on Saturday (Jun 30), taking jabs at the rapper over Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like” beat.

Brown’s remix features several shots at Drake, his music, appearance and reputation with lyrics like this: “One on one, what you scared bruh? … Them eyebrows, man, them sh–s is yikes!” and “OVO, you overdose, YOLO no, I live twice!” But Chris does commend Drake’s Young Money counterparts Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.

Chris briefly references the alleged June 14 melee between him and members of Drizzy’s crew at NYC’s W.i.P. nightclub, saying “They throwing bottles/ I’m throwing models.”

It’s still unclear what sparked the altercation between the two camps.MTV News reported that a fight broke out at the trendy W.i.P. in which bottles were allegedly thrown. A photo posted on Brown’s Instagram showed the singer sporting a bloody gash on his chin and quickly made its rounds after the incident.

The singer’s bodyguard also sustained a head injury, as did NBA star Tony Parker, Australian tourist Hollie C and two others, accoridng to reports. No arrests have been made.

Rick Ross ‘Knows’ Meek Mill Wasn’t Involved In Chris Brown/ Drake Brawl

Drake’s camp has refuted claims that the “Headlines” rapper was involved in the incident. “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began,” his rep told TMZ. “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”

Last week, Maybach Music rapper Meek Mill, who was also in attendance the night of the fight, spoke out during his appearance on”RapFix Live”, saying he had no involvement in the incident.

“I don’t really be having those controversies like that, man. It’s just that the more hotter you get, they start talkin’,” Mill told Sway.

Drake and Brown have been the subject of tabloid rumors of late, as buzz built that the two were fighting over singer Rihanna. Brown’s long-term relationship with the superstar famously exploded after he assaulted her in 2009, but they continued to be linked to one another. Drake has spoken several times that he and Rihanna are close, and allegedly had a brief fling, and the pair were spotted out together as recently as Memorial Day weekend in Miami.
